Made from the goodness within, Castle Lager Bread of the Nation

Successive waves of COVID had unleashed a pandemic of hunger across South Africa.  By taking spent grain, a byproduct of the brewing process, and turning it into a protein rich flour, we were able to create a nutritious, non-alcoholic bread that’s gone on to feed an estimated 1 million people.
