Creative director, writer and accidental musician
Ex Ogilvy CD. Cannes. One Show. D&AD. Loeries. Effies. Apex. Bookmarks. Etc etc.
Neil’s a lifelong writer, storyteller and maker who’s built a +/- 20 year career in advertising and strategic communications. He loves to play with elements of his craft, experiment with new processes and tech, and collaborate with other thinkers and creators.
Over the past two or so decades, he’s helped steer teams and agencies, grown and mentored a wide range of writers, art directors, designers, filmmakers and creative industry professionals, and built award-winning work with brands in pretty much every sector and industry. (He was also briefly famous as a guitarist with iconic local indie band, The Black Hotels, and has shared stages with a number of much better known acts and artists.)
In his spare time he loves to swim, read, walk his cats and try play Bach, Baden Powell, Farka Toure or the Prodigy on guitars they were never intended for.
